Hopefully someone who's knowledgeable and know what's to be done sees this (and replies).

Here's the circumstances...

I upgrade my smartphone back in July (Samsung Galaxy Express - Android) and everything was clean.
I downloaded the 5dimes mobile app, logged in, etc. and my login information was saved so that every time
I opened the app, my username and password was automatically filled in. I never had to type in that info.
Same for when I prepped a wager. The password field was automatically filled and all I had to do was
press "confirm". I never had to type in the password.

So in late August a friend who was boarding a plane asked if I could login to his account and put in a
baseball parlay for him. I did it from my mobile app on my phone and ever since I have to type my account
info in. Both to login and confirm a play.

I downloaded this app called "history eraser" and took the logical steps to clear the history and cache but
it seemingly had no effect, at least for my 5 dimes app. I even deleted the 5dimes app and re-downloaded it.

Does anyone know the steps I can take to clean the cache and have app remember the info?

There is an app in the apple store that helped me with this same problem called "KILL".

I dont know if that app is in the android store.
There is a pretty good chance that it is as most of these apps are on both systems.

See if they have an app called kill and see if that works.

I know it works for apple.

Another thing you can do is go to 5dimes.tv instead of 5dimes.com

The .tv works better then the mobile app anyway.
Trust me on this.

I don't think there is a 5 dimes app out there available...you must use a browser to get access to 5 dimes..

Here are few things you can do...not sure what browser you use but:

1) go to settings and find an option with "password saved" and clear it...
2) if you can't get it to work, go download another browser and use it...there are a few good ones for android...Dolphin, Firefox, Skyfire and Chrome...
3) once you get to 5 dimes acct page, after you type in name and password the 1st time, there will be a popup to ask if u want to save user info and password...chose YES and you're good to go next time..

GL man...

You're right that there's no app. I do have an icon with the 5dimes logo that I can tap and it opens "http://5dimes.mobi" in a browser. I can't recall how that icon came to be. I think that's what allowed me to be convinced it was an app. Nonetheless, the browser is whatever came pre-installed. Anyway, I'll try and go down the path you suggest.

There are hundreds of cache and history cleaning apps. I tried a few, but the outcome never resolved my issue. I followed Vinnie's suggestion and downloaded Firefox. When I first tapped my 5Dimes icon I was prompted which of the two browsers to use. Firefox was selected and I was able to set it up to remember to always open with Firefox. So that solution appears to be working for me. There's a couple of nuances I expect to need to resolve to get everything working as desired. I won't go into the details, but it all looks doable and will take a little time get into place.

Thanks Vinnie (and others).

If its a browser issue try google chrome.
I use google chrome on 5d.

If google chrome dont work just go back to FF.
