3rd place of 12 and start playoffs this week in my money league that is most competitive. 7th place in my other money league where I had 3rd most points and got boned by Eric Decker last week to miss playoffs. Worst part is that I lost to my roommate(winner got in) who updates his team Sunday mornings and pays little attention. Thats just the way it goes sometimes. Have the 2 seed in another non money league(play for a belt only)
So basically my season comes down to how well I do in my number 1 league....but i still can't really profit as I am holding the $$ for that league so either way I am paying out money to people since I have it commingled with all my other cash

I play in 2 keeper leagues, 10 team and 14 team leagues. Won my division in 10 team league and have a bye this week to start playoffs. As for my team in the 14 team league, this was my lineup in week 1...Stafford, J. Bell, Foster, Megatron, Cobb(made a trade for D.Thomas when Cobb went down), G. Little, J. Graham, Crosby, Denver D. Believe it or not, that team finished 5-8 and ended up in 12th place! FF is not about how goo your team is, it's about how good your schedule is...

Think I have a real shot to win the rx one and the 8 manner, really hate my lineup in the other one.
Usually have one team that misses playoffs so I'm happy to be in in all 3 leagues this year. :toast:

tied for first in one league at 10-3 (2nd high scorer) (draft position number 4)
first in my division and 2nd best overall in another league at 9-4 (high scorer) (draft position number 11)
dead last and lowest scorer in league number 3 at 2-11 (I had the 1st pick in this league and Yahoo said I had the league's best draft, go figure)

First year playing fantasy football. Played in Kid's league and missed the playoffs (6-7), played in a buy in public league and did even worse (4-9)! Drafted Doug Martin and he was a bust before he got hurt. Witten, Cruz, Welker have been inconsistent at best. In the public league I drafted Rice, Roddy, and Cobb all 3 bombed, and I lost 3 games by less than a point. Total disaster.
I'm in a keeper league (started in 1978) and we are a scoring only league..we won 1st half title (5 wins) and won 4500 for 1st half..tied for first in second half(1 win)--still 4 weeks to go..we have 10 teams and it costs 100 per week per team (payout is 600-300-100) and 220 per team each half(payout is 1400-500-300)..Peyton Manning been berry, berry good to me over the years!
My team is awful. I Drafted Vereen (dropped him when he got hurt wk 2), doug martin, ahmad bradshaw,. ETC i've been victim of injuries big time. That said I am in a terrible division and if i win and the div leader loses this week i'm in the playoffs.
So I've been discussing a way to do our league so that you take so much luck out of the equation. I have actually been the luckiest team on the planet. I'll score second lowest in the league and happen to play the guy who scores the lowest. This is the type of thing I don't like.
I know some leagues will not play matchups and just give W's to the top 6 scorers and L's to the bottom 6. Maybe something like this is more fair than actually matching up and playing a real schedule?
