Converting the 4th & forever on the scramble - making some big time plays at critical junctions in the game... Was just thoroughly impressed with his (and L'Ville's) performance late in that game... The 3rd down heave under extreme duress on 3rd and long that was completed for a TD was an amazing play...

Didn't really understand the hype surrounding this guy for most of the year, but was nothing short of a fantastic player this evening, and showed a lot of heart.

Just thought I'd share...

I think he's the best quarterback in college football. Lots of other quarterbacks have looked better because their teams are loaded and they have top-end offensive lines, but Bridgewater only had like 2 starters back on the line to protect him. He's going to make a great pro.

120th out of 126 in the difficulty of schedule. Played against creampuffs all year, hardly impressive.

Like I said, I didn't really get the hype for most of the year...

I think his performance last night was nothing short of impressive. He put the team on his back in the 4th quarter while trailing 14-10. Converted a 4th and 12 on a busted play, scrambled for it with a Cincy defender holding onto him for the last 4-5 yards -- all heart. The kid was the only reason L'ville won that game last night. Put the team on his back, on the road in a hostile environment and got the ball into the end zone every single time they HAD to have it.

What's not to like about how he performed last night?

I'm not suggesting he should be the front runner for the Heisman, nor am I very impressed with L'ville as a ball club... but Bridgewater is a talented player who showed some serious heart last night. I don't understand your 'hardly impressive' comment.

This guy is complete BUST.

I am sure 5team can bump I 24-36 months

This. Gabbert's college tape was better and he's a total bust. I just don't see it. Most teams would be better off trading for Schaub and drafting a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round(Fales, McCarron, Carr) than selecting Bridgewater in the first.

FWIW Mariotta will Bust too.

I don't think this thread was intended to be about whether or not Bridgewater will be a good pro. As PWP stated, last night (last couple drives) he was nothing short of fantastic and showed a lot of character and a lot of heart. I too give the kid a lot of credit for what he did last night (and I was on Cincy and Under).

Agree on Marcus and your suggestion about trading for Schaub.

This even the announcers said was his best game of the year but of the Thurs & Fri games this week the best QB by far were not the highly touted Bridgewater or Lynch for No. Ill. it was Matt Johnson of Bowling Green!
