Peyton Manning is closing in on Tom Brady's record of 50 touchdown passes in a season.

He had 41 td's heading into today (week 14) and has thrown for 3 more today.

44 total with 3 games left against San Diego, Houston, and Oakland...

Absolutely I think he'll beat it, he probably ends up with 52 or 53

He should have 5 next week alone

Didn't think about this, but hopefully it's not a factor on whether or not he breaks it...

Coach John Fox wouldn't answer Monday when asked whether he would rest Peyton Manning in the event the Broncos clinched the AFC's No. 1 seed early.
Although the notion of sitting players when high playoff seeding is locked in makes sense logically, the result of doing so has rarely paid off for teams who employ the strategy. This still isn't a Week 15 fantasy concern. The Broncos are 11-2, just one game ahead of the 10-3 Patriots and 10-3 division rival Chiefs. There's still plenty to play for. Denver faces San Diego in Week 15.

I doubt he plays much next week if NE loses but if NE wins he will have to play

either way pretty impressive to break the record even though its been broken 3x in the last 10 years or whatever
