OK guys and gals. This should be pretty simple if you don't carry any preexisting biases. So I'm bringing this question here for an honest response. Thanks for responding in advance.

Would you consider the following quote to be a farewell post; letter of resignation; or simple goodbye?

yes - this is a farewell post

no - this is not a farewell post

I do suspect many of us will be gone for a bit (if not for good) after Tuesday. I've enjoyed the venting and the forum has been good for that (in addition to some good info), but shy of checking out the Rxers football picks and posting up mine, I don't plan on spending much more time here. I'm still gonna visit Dave in Vegas (perhaps during the holidays or early next year....thinking about a trip in the next few months). Somehow I'm thinking down the road, Willie and I will meet up in an NCAA basketball tournament (of course it might be awhile for his alma mater and my birth place). I think all of us have better things to do than sit around and verbally fight all day long. It's entertaining but I'd just assume focus on the job, get outside and get some sunshine, get some reading in, plan some vacations, etc. It's been fun and I've met some cool people here.

On to football!!

Thanks again for your response.

Just to qualify this so there is no misunderstanding.

This is not a present post. It was posted two days prior to the last Presidential election (thus the reference to Tuesday (voting day)).

Seems to me the guy got tired of wasting time with internet arguments. Put the forum behind him. Left some room to come back if he wants.

That is the post of a dude who spent two years talking shit about the election and realizing that he was about to lose. What Michaelango does not mention is he continued to post after this, including more shit talking on election day. Then when he lost, no one has heard from him since.

I chuckled at some of the replies. If he/she hasn't posted in 2 years take it as see ya later but he/she could return.

Can you explain why you needed to ask this question? Was there a wager involved?

I just busted out laughing after typing that and laughed while typing this.

LMAO
