[h=1]Updated NFL Vegas Rankings[/h][h=3]Vegas handicappers' power ratings for all 32 NFL teams after 14 weeks[/h]By Dave Tuley | ESPN Insider
LAS VEGAS -- And down the stretch they come ... the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks are neck and neck ... fill in your own horse racing cliché here.
The Broncos and Seahawks are both 11-2 and have the inside track on home-field advantage in their respective conferences. They're the 2-1 co-favorites to win the Super Bowl in the future book at the LVH SuperBook here in Vegas. I was hoping that we'd be able to separate them in this update of the NFL Vegas Bettors' Poll, but our panel of handicappers -- Teddy "Covers" Sevransky, Sal Selvaggio and yours truly, Dave Tuley -- all have them tied as well.
These numbers are meant to be a current snapshot of the relative strength of all the teams if they were to meet on a neutral field, and they can be used to compare to the lines being offered on upcoming games (with adjustments made for home-field advantage). So that would mean that we project a potential Broncos-Seahawks Super Bowl as a pick 'em affair.
You can check the chart below to see how a team's stock has risen or fallen during the course of the season. Our first in-season ratings were Sept. 24 (after Week 3) and then on Nov. 5 (after Week 9). The Broncos have been our No. 1 team throughout, though the Seahawks have now closed the gap even after losing 19-17 at San Francisco on Sunday.
