Ever have one of those unusual, rare, feelings that gamblers only get once in a while, which you are so sure a certain wager will win?

Do you remember kicking yourself afterwards because you didn't follow through with your intuition?!?

Villanova over Georgetown Futures bet. I forget whether it was '83 or '85 (I think). Before the NCAA tourney started, Villanova was 70 to one. Georgetown was 1 to 1 . Vill had played Gtown 3 times that year, losing by fewer points each game. They lost to them by about 7 in the conference championship game. I remember watching the Nova players walk off the court after that game. I saw a look of confidence in their eyes. (I found out after the tournament that the confidence was really in their nose (cocaine)). Anyway, my guy would not take futures bets and I couldn't find anyone who was going to Reno or Vegas before the tourny began. I decided not go to Reno to place the bet. Would have bet $50 to win $3500 (1985 dollars). It was hell watching that tournament, especially that final game.

Cutler coming back 1st game back, taking out red hot McCown, if Cutler is your guy I get it but still seemed like it would have an immediate effect

still time left though

Maryland over ECU in a bowl game 3 years ago. Terps were 7.5 point favorites. I was in Vegas for the game(was a UMD student @ the time). Bet 100 on them but wish I had bet all the $$ i brought with me as i initially planned

When Miami played @ Pitt a few weeks ago in CFB. I have been watching Pitt football for what, almost 40 years, and I knew they had no chance.
My heart just wouldn't let me.

SEC Championship 2013 I liked Auburn -1 and Ov. 54 I wanted to bet in a 2-team parlay for a dime. But stayed away from it and after the game I was sick because I didn't bet it.

ive wished the reverse many times... ha

liked a play all week/day and then bet even though late line moves or other things should have scared me off but was too stubborn to stay away even though I already had felt like it was a loser...

sure enough

The games I like and pass up,are the games I could be counting my $$$$ early on in the game....The games I do bet on, I'm sweating free throws, need a miracle drive late in the fourth quarter or I have a 1 run lead bottom of the 9th,and my teams reliever comes in and he's all over the joint.....Unreal

Just last night in the NHL. All day I was on Colorado ML against Dallas. Thought Colorado would win easily but come post time just couldn't pull the trigger. Would have been an easy win (6-2) and cost me $2 dollars.

Saints SB win...was in Vegas, knew in my mind there was no way they were gonna lose, ready to lay 2k on it, chickened out. Went with the +5 instead, instead of the +190.
