What are your thoughts on Eminem?

I don't follow his kind of music or that type of scene at all but just finished watching 8 Mile for about the 10th time and got to thinking "where does this guy and his music rank all time?"

He's the best selling artist of the 2000's and has sold more than 220 million records worldwide.

Pretty impressive if you ask me.

Would love to hear from some guys that know more about this topic.

i don't remember the movie being good or anything

shit I haven't even seen rocky 3 10 times

Greatest rapper of all time.. he is the only white guy I know of that litterally has a full time "ni**er" free pass.

He's definitely a legend, I don't know about GROAT status, but I will say he lost it for a while and then his recent stuff is coming back. And I would watch the ABC game every week to see the montage with his song. Turned it up full volume. Just got you pumped!!

Think the movie is good. I'm not a fan of his music but Eminem seems like a likable guy.

Really haven't seen it 10 full times. It's on TV, so I watch for 45 or so then leave or whatever. I've seen it in it's entirety maybe 2 times.

since he's the OG and set the bar for every white rapper in existence, he has to be top 10 imo. no matter what he does now, he has done enough to be considered a legend.

His old school albums kick ass but "Recovery" and the new LP 2 are just off the hook. "Recovery" is one of my favorite albums of all time, and I'm a rock/metal type of guy before rap/hip hop. I've seen Metallica 8 times in concert, etc.
