107 views in the merry christmas thread and only 8 replies back wishing everyone a merry christmas is pretty sad,whats the problem if viewing the thread that you say, merry christmas or whatever you use during the holiday.its not like you don't have an idea what is in the thread when you are entering it so why just click out of it without saying something.
this is one of the issues we have here,people enter threads like this and just ignore the meaning of it and just click out of it without sharing something useful.......if not going to respond then don't even bother to enter,its a freakin major holiday and you just ignore it like its something useless

for the most part I agree but lots of these could be the same person. I.e BAS creates a thread, then after one response, he checks it again, then after the next response both BAS and first reply check thread. so by the 8th response, BAS is 7 views, next guy is 6 views, then 5 and so on. Probably is not the case to that extent but is somewhat of the reasoning.
