at least in passing, and especially when they are at home. They play a much more exciting brand of basketball and their home court even gets me fired up and I don't have any ties to them.

Even when the heat played the Lakers, not the same even though the Heat are the better team than Golden State, just can't stand to watch. Bleah

I completely agree with you. I can barely stand to watch most NBA games and I used to be a huge NBA fan. I've regained a bit of interest since moving to Portland and this year I love watching the Blazers, especially in person. In addition to the Blazers and Golden State which are my two favorites, I'd add the Spurs, Indiana, OK City, T'Wolves, Rockets, and Clippers as teams that I enjoy watching as you say "at least in passing."

We gotta hang sometime, Felix - Blazers are enfuego this year. What a difference a center and a bench make.

Also, don't know what you guys are talking about... The parity socks (both NY teams are to blame) but the NBA game is still so much better than ncaa... Bunch of undersized women. Ncaa basketball reminiscent me of 70s Olympics ball.
