Like I previously said I have no pain or discomfort at all. It just feels hard under my belly button and my doctor that did an inguinal hernia on me 8 years ago said it was. I can't have surgery until my doctors appointment on Wednesday to get my high blood pressure under control and have my prostrate checked out.The surgery isn't bad I had umbilical hernia surgery back in 2007. I had to be at the hospital at 6:30 am and I was back home by 9:00 am same day. A little pain for 2-3 days after but other than that you'll be up and walking 3-4 days.
If you don't get it done soon it will cause a growth on the outside of your stomach and that just adds to the surgery time as the growth has to be surgically removed. Google it and you will see what I mean by the growth on the outside of your stomach. I had the surgery immediately as soon as the doctor found out what was wrong.
If you have a umbilical hernia I don't know how you can tolerate the pain. I felt like I had a bad stomach ache 24/7 until I had it fixed. And any vibration like riding in a vehicle just made it 10 times as bad.
