so many different variables when it comes to hedging futures.. I'm weak on the Saints , NE, Carolina, and Auburn.. I will impliment teasers when I have to.. Teased Saints with Auburn +14 1/2, KC +6, SF + 3 1/2, SD + 13.. I teased those teams because I am in great position with Cincy, Indy, GB...My mindset with teasers involving Futures is if I lose the teaser, something good has hppened..I will also jump in with live betting when weak on a team.. This has helped me eliminate a team or make money on that team if they get behind in that game... already teased Saints next week + 16 with SD +13
I've come to find that this opinion is split about 50-50 among bettors.
But there are indeed circumstances in which the payoffs are great enough in which they deserve a hedge.
A perfect example would be the Super Bowl Matchup Props Below:

Let's assume a team is on their way to winning and representing their conference in the Super Bowl, and their opponent in one of the prop-matchups is about to meet in the other conference game. One would be foolish not to bet the other side/team to guarantee a hefty payout with such odds.
I always say it comes down to the person/bettor and they must ask themselves ahead of time "Can I live with myself if I don't hedge, and end up losing guaranteed profits"...

I agree FW and those 2 are nice to have.
Like I asked Noonan above, if Carolina gets through to the AFC game, will you ride that +4500 out or guarantee yourself some dough?
