Artic cold blasts throughout, 2 straight months of dirty pollutant filled air here in the Westcoast, snow in Israel and Egypt.. and on and on. I'm only 41 so I don't remember much of the past but this does seem a bit odd the way the weather's been behaving.

the norm is the norm, but there have always been extreme variations throughout recorded history

wind storms, droughts, heavy rains, floods, changing temperatures ........................

I think the sun and solar activity (sun spots) have a whole lot more to do with our weather than anything we can possibly do

I also believe climate change is a concern, we need to find a way to mitigate our exposures. But we're not going to alter climate change, something that's been occurring for 2 billion years.

"Global Warming" and "Climate Change" are the biggest jokes/load of bullshit ever perpetrated upon the American public. In 1977 the cover of Time Magazine was a story about the coming ice age.

We heard "Global Warming" for years....but after the statistics didn't show the data that the tree huggers (i.e. liberal nut jobs) wanted it became "Climate Change". So now, anytime there's some odd weather pattern they can cry wolf and say "see, it's climate change".

There's as many scientists who have disproven the theory (and that's all it is, a theory) that have proven the theory. Do a Google search.

The Harvard scientist got raked over the coals by his peers a few years ago when he admitted it's the their advantage to continue to tout "global warming" and "climate change" because it guarantees funding for research.

It's a joke and if you truly believe it exists you should go say hello to Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy while you're at it....

Since our modern ability to record temperature data and weather events amounts to less than a fraction of a fraction of a fraction's, fraction, of the Earth's existence, there really isn't any reason to worry. We have no idea what "normal" is, especially since climate is always changing (there is no such thing as "normal" weather), and we can't do anything about it anyway. So why worry?

I'd be more concerned with the elevated levels of radiation that guy found on the beach in your state!

GOV says it is probably from some red painted utensils though so no need to worry.....carry on as usual.

as for the weather, it s only going to keep getting crazy as long as they keep spraying chemicals all over the sky to try to prevent that so called uhhm global warming.

Don't forget the shifting polarity of the Earth. Climate change is natural, but once the ball gets rolling downhill it picks up steam. It seams that the recent climate change is also changing the polar migration. link

the earth is warming, has been since the end of the most recent ice age, some 17,000 years give or take. Started warming about 16,900 years before the combustion engine was invented

the climate is changing, it has been changing for about 2 billion years, it's been changing ever since the Big Bang occurred whenever occurred that created planet earth

the climate will continue to change, and some of those changes will be catastrophic, so we should be concerned

the argument is not really about global warming or climate change, the argument is about MAN-MADE global warming which has now evolved into MAN-MADE climate change (for obvious reasons)

we're not going to stop 2 billion years of climate change by driving smaller cars, we're not going to stop nor create solar flares by using solar panels, the deniers are the people that don't think mother earth and nature control the climate

at this point in time, the climate is beyond the control of mankind, and we're wasting our time barking up the wrong tree
