I do have the Pro so hopefully someone else who knows for sure can answer your question...

Who and how are these play determined? I guess what i mean is , are these plays determined by line moves? Or are they the result of picking sides that they like.

SO's office picks got crushed in football this year. They stopped giving out picks a few weeks into the season.

They were very good in football in 2012, and especially at the end of the season. You can pull a report of all of SO picks on their software to see for yourself.

Might have to keep an eye on their hoops picks.

2013 the plays went 164-164-7

NFL went 13-18-1
NCAA went 41-54 ending the season losing 8 straight and 23 of last 28.

Why is the sportsoptions staff thread locked ?

Hopefully it was just locked by accident (i know that has happened before) but it would be pretty crappy if it was locked on purpose to keep people from pointing out that 1 days results were a rarity.
