The sportsbook is operated by SOUTH POINT

Both places offer a $100 rebate on one's first slot/vp losses, they send the rebate via mail one week later and believe one has somewhere from 30-90 to do this, not 100% positive they still doing this, inquire at slot booth if one is interested.

Not a fan of the cannery, they do have a great small Italian restaurant inside. Other than that, it's kinda far out of the way if your not already in North Las Vegas. Overall not a very nice place in my opinion unless you want some good Italian food.

from what ive read in gaming today, they have really fixed the place up nice and they say they are customer first not casino, now im not sure i believe all that but it sounds like they treat people a bit better than other places as far as comps.

now when i lived in las vegas i lived up near the fiesta, and texas station, also i was closer to the hillhaven convelesent home, not sure if its still there but that is the area i was in.so if the cannery is up that part north then its not a problem with me.

sorry Keyman I was thinking about the Eastside Cannery which is in North Vegas, now that I think of it your right they did redo the other Cannery over by Sunset station. Haven't been yet but it sure lights up the skyline at night

The Eastside Cannery sits near Sam's Town where the Nevada Palace once was, not in N. Vegas...............the other Cannery is in the northern part of Vegas on Craig Road.

Decent Italian restaurant, decent South Point sportsbook, and as mentioned, the $100 rebate promo....................if there, worth also going few more miles north to Aliante, great betting numbers and an above average buffet with above average video poker options.

What does Aliante's buffet price usually run?
