Now that MLB has a more comprehensive replay system including a manager challenge will this cause players to argue more or argue longer , and will this cause umpires to take less trash talking ?
If i'm a player that tries to steal 2nd base and i slide in under the tag but the umpire calls me out , i'm going to argue to let my manager know. ... but if i'm an umpire and i know the team has a challenge i'm not going to listen to a bunch of arguing from the player , challenge or stfu.
I'm thinking umpires will get quick on the trigger.
