Alright, this is shocking data. I mean typically you want to compare relative spending increasing between Presidents... but when you have a President 5 years later spending less nominally than the previous President, that is insane. These austerity measures are going to continue, the economy is going to get worse, and the Republicans will continue to blame Obama. Obstruct and blame is their new strategy. What they are doing is one of the more despicable things I've ever seen. Slashing jobs, slashing spending, sending our economy back in to a recession. The Fed doesn't have any more tricks up their sleeve, Congress is pretty much worthless because of the degenerate Repubs. It's pathetic.

These are real facts. No matter how hard you try, you can not change what this graph represents. Austerity will always fail. It's mathematically illogical. Countries all across the world are suffering because this ridiculous ideology. It's time for people to get educated and grow up. It's the 21st century.

Did you know? Obama has not cut spending on one program, increased regulations, implemented Obamacare and hired (or will hire) 20,000 IRS agents

only in libtardville is that called austerity, just the silliest people on the planet

maybe Obama needs to invade Iran so we can increase our defense spending again, that'll make the mental midgets happy

Lol, so nothing about the fact that the Government is in fact spending less than Bush spent? I guess, when you want to ignore basic facts just bring up Obamacare, lol. You guys are so embarrassing. But it's so easy to make you look foolish because there is literally nothing anyone can say about the chart I posted. That's austerity no matter how you slice it.

The facts speak for themselves. If Obama could be more like Big Government Keynesian Reagan we'd be much better off right now. Funny how you guys can just completely ignore the facts, lol. Can you show your Domestic Spending graph again? Hahahaha

And by the way, there was record debt and spending every year Reagan was in office at the time he was in office. Not sure what point that makes.

Show your reason that Reagan was not a Keynesian is

Deficit to GDP is less, Federal Spending to GDP is less, Discretionary Spending was less, and Federal Job growth was less?

Hahahahaha! Can't write better comedy than that.

Who cares if Obama nominally spent less than Bush, Bush was excoriated in here for being a fiscal liberal.

What a stupid thread.

I realize basic facts and economics is stupid to you. Might want to go have a convo with your best buddy Canadian Joe. You two surely are intelligent individuals, lol. What a clown show we got going on. FesteringZit, Willie, Dave, Sheriff joe. All we need is Russ to post and we'd have a real party. Do you realize how dumb you look?

This.

Reagan outspent the Soviets in order to win the Cold War, while Bush invaded Afghanistan and Iraq...and our brain-dead partisan troll believes there is some bizarre economic correlation.

Completely libtarded - you can't make this shit up!

So spending money on wars is ok but not ok on anything else? Interesting logic you conservatives have, lol. Even Paul Krugman agrees with you. The only thing that would save this economy is another massive WWII like war. Otherwise the government will never spend the money the economy needs. Good job, you and Krugman finally agree on something!

Obstruct and blame is the Republican strategy. Force a reduction in the size of government and then blame the government for the results, lol. Lot of idiots buy in to it as shown by this forum.

You guys can come up with as much ideological bullshit as you want... the facts are the government has reduced it's size, in terms of public sector employment and spending. Those are facts that you can not change. The only thing you can do is try to spin it to fit your bullshit ideology.

Spending money on wars from time to time is necessary and constitutional.

Spending money on the welfare state is unnecessary and unconstitutional.

Not surprising a Democrat hack like you doesn't know the difference and not at all shocking that your cult believes there is some hidden economic correlation.

Only you and Keynesian nutjobs like Krugman believe destruction produces economic growth and prosperity.

The only ideologue with bullshit ideology in here is a troll, and that would be fratfraud, and everyone in here knows it.

It's too bad we just don't ignore and stop feeding the troll.
