need help with TV to watch DVD's

I know I'm never going to live this down with (BET ALL) especially but i can't figure out out get it to video mode. The TV is a LG 3d smart led.if anyone can help I'd appreciate it. I'll be in church for the next hour so be patient with me answering you back

yea it does,but i have two remotes,the directv one with that input button and the other one that came with the smart tv,...do you think i have to go into and use the smart tv button on the new remote or not

Yes, go into the remote that comes with the tv originally and try to find a button that lets you switch to the DVD. It's usually labeled "input."
