Is the NFL learning a valuable lesson about scheduling the Super Bowl in the Northeast?

Everyone knew it was a stupid thing to do. Will we see a super bowl again in New York or New Jersey anytime soon again?

My understanding is that they did this because of 9-11 and they wanted to show support for NYC.

The 2015 site will be in Glenndale AZ, 2016: Levi, Stadium in San Francisco (that could be tricky); 2017: Reliant Stadium in Houston, TX

The 2018 Finalists are New Orleans, LA., Indianapolis, IN. & Minneapolis, MN.
The 2018 Super Bowl will be awarded in May of 2014

So yeah, I hope they learned a lesson from all of this.
