I'm all for putting people like this through hell the rest of their lives, but don't believe in the death penalty, so no...

Who decides, the jury? 12 people who weren't smart enough to get out of jury duty?

I agree here. Im not big on the death penalty though mainly because I think the guy should have to sit in a cell for the rest of his life and think about his actions.

Unfortunately he can only be put to death once...

Can we have some of the victims and the family members of the deceased decide how he should be out to death?

I vote for general population at Rikers Island.

Death is the easy way out. What if he goes in to the afterlife that so many still firmly believe in? If you truly want to punish, solitary confinement for 10 years.

Yes, and this would be the Best Super Bowl Halftime Show Ever!

And if there's a prop on whether the terrorist will be "Locked Out Of Heaven" I'll wager on YES.

What do you mean? You really think death penalty is harsher than 10 year solitary cell confinement?

No, you're right. 10 years of solitary for a young man, letting him count the time till he is a free man is much harder on him than probably 8-10 years of appeals, then knowing that one day they are going to come into the cell, pull you out against your will, strap you down with people watching, and put a needle into your arm.

All this while knowing that there is nothing you can do about stopping it. Somebody else controls your destiny.

Yeah, your way is much worse.

no, but I can't vote for your option

I'm opposed to the death penalty, but I'm a proponent for truth in sentencing. Imprisoned for life should mean imprisoned for life, he should suffer for a long long time thinking about what could have been

Make it a pay-per-view and give the money to the victims.
