49ers are a much larger draw than the Seahawks. Refs ripped off the 49ers in that game but they've been ripping off teams all season long. Bad year for officiating but there was no monetary reason for the NFL to want Seattle to advance over a more popular team. Blame referee stupidity but not referee fixing.
I do believe that officials, per the NFL, at times have a hand in deliberately determining the result of a game.
As for the video, with the officiating being so horrible these days, you can probably make one just like it for every NFL game...

What they need to do is put the refs on the payroll and make it a full time job. Training during the offseason and getting into game shape to run up and down the field better. Teach them better positioning on the field to see things they miss that people can see on tv plain as day and to make decisive calls.
That would be a lot easier and better for the game as a whole rather than bring these guys in as they do now.

Not really. There has been very few examples of fixing games in professional sports. It's not even logical to think there is some widespread rigging. It's the 21st century. It would not be that hard for investigators or books to know that there is rigging going on. This is just gamblers paranoia.
