I heard someone on the radio yesterday say the hotel staff said to them "don't put the water on your face, it will hurt your skin"

This is surreal

Reporters from around the world are starting to check into local hotels — to their apparent grief. Some journalists arriving in Sochi are describing appalling conditions in the housing there, where only six of nine media hotels are ready for guests. Hotels are still under construction. Water, if it’s running, isn’t drinkable.

the Hotel problems made me laugh. Sounds like many had a good sense of humor about it all. Definitely an experience most of them are not use too I'm sure

Yes. I am not racist. She could have been yellow, green, purple, polka dot, blue or any other color you wanted to choose.

Let me now add forget the color of the skin for the bigots out there. That is a prison and ghetto face. Look at some prison photos and you'll get the reference.

But why is that a prison and ghetto face? I just don't get the logic. It is a perfectly normal face. She isn't doing anything out of the ordinary, just looking straight ahead. But because she is black, you think it is a ghetto face. If a white person was looking forward like that, not making any real expression, you would never make that comment. Ive looked at prison photos and dont get the reference. Nothing about her looks like she is ghetto.

If she looks ghetto to you it's because it's all in your head. You already have some picture in your head that you associate with "ghetto." She's black and nothing more.
