I feel obligated as an American to force myself to watch it but it's atrocious.

Looks like Hockey doesn't start till Thursday early AM.

I watched some of the womens hockey match, Japan against Sweden... It was pretty bad. The only thing worthwhile in the winter is Bobsledding and Hockey.

Is the men's downhill still considered the premier event of the winter olympics. I can name maybe 5 former winter Olympians but the 2
competitors who seemed to gain the most renown in the winters I recall were Jean Claude Killie of France & Franz Klammer of Austria.

Canada was -15000 against Switzerland in chick hockey (+6000 the other way); can't believe they only won 5-0.

I was in the local watering hole the other night and there were literally people crying during the opening ceremony...I was like WTF. The Olympics might be the most blown up bullshit ever.
