2013 Seahawks #3 at best ever??
They were great this year and its much harder to have a strong defense now than it was years ago... but I am not sure about putting them up that high

I like how the 76 Steeler defense is on there, but the 75 or 77 or 78 teams are totally ignored like they weren't any good.

Anyone that picks another bunch than the mid 70's Steelers is goofy. 4 HOF on D, Blount, Ham, Lambert, Green, NUFF said. 85 Bears 2 Singltary & Hampton?!

I think this poll is for best defense in one single season.

But I would rank Tampa Bay's defense who was dominant for 10 years just as good as the Steelers' dynasty in the 70's.

That Bucs defense will also end up with at least 4 Hall of famers...

Defenses were allowed to do so much more back in the 70s and 80s, they wouldnt be nearly as good if they had to play with todays rules. Seattles defense this year was just as good as any other
