Lebron was recently asked who is mount Rushmore of basketball all time and he puts himself on there. Kobe was just asked the same question at all star weekend and he leaves himself off and shows respect for the old greats. Way to be humble Lebron.

The difference is LeBron may actually end up deserving to be on it someday. I don't think there's anything wrong with the confidence.

I'm sure LBJ is crushed that RX forum posted JustinCruise doesn't like him...hopefully he can find the strength to carry on.

People HATE Lebron... until he plays on their favorite team.

People in Miami had a huge dislike for Lebron, pretty much hated him. Then he joined the Heat... now they love him to death and cant get enough.

Just depends on which team he plays on.

Cleveland loved him... now they hate him.

So Lebron should have lied? We always ask for athletes to be honest, and when they are they get criticized.

Justin cruise you're 100% correct, for once in your life. A broke clock is right at least twice a day.

Do they put rapists on Mount Rushmore?

If not, then Kobe may be out

Lebron has a good shot of going down as the best basketball player of all time....Kobe's book is already wrote. Lebron may be great for another 8+ years. I seriously believe he'll win titles with 2 more teams other than the Heat....Bulls, Cavs, and the Lakers being in the mix.

Enjoy it people. More than likely you're watching the best basketball player of all time in his prime. You don't have to like him to enjoy it. We're not talking about a best position player like MLB or NFL....we're talking about the best overall plaer.

8+ years? He is already 29.

You cant be the best basketball player of all time when your not better than Kobe, I'm sorry. He is not even on my Mt. Rushmore. Lebron makes his living in the paint, still can't shoot.

he'll have played during his prime in what should generally be considered the worst conference in the history of the NBA. And still needed 2 of his all-star buddies + a miracle collapse by the Spurs to win 2 titles.

His legacy to date would be half of what it is without the benefit of that conference in my opinion.

"James said his Mount Rushmore of players - the four greatest NBA players of all-time - would include Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson. For what it's worth, that's not a bad fearsome foursome."

He didn't put himself on there.

Lebron went from the most overrated player in all of sports to self proclaimed all time great on Ray Allen's shot - he was on the verge of being crucified in the media as the trophy was being brought onto the court in Game 6
