Canada was a little better today despite being down 2-0. I wouldn't say the US chocked. They hit the post on the empty net after Canada pulled their goalie. One inch and it was 3-1 and game over. It was a great game to watch. Either team was deserving of the win but luck, at the end, was on the good guys side!

choke is really the only word to use for it
even after the end of regulation breakdown they had a ton of chances to start OT....nada
but the nerves really showed on that 2 on 1. canadian defender makes a mistake and plays the puck leaving the american girl wide open for the gold medal. sends a perfect pass over and not only does she not score but she barely touches the puck, falls ass over tea kettle, and pushes the puck toward the blue line sending canada on a breakaway which results in the penalty that gives canada the 4 on 3....
