Whether it was a charge or not, the game can't end like that.

Score the bucket with no call. Let the kids decide the outcome.

I hate Duke more then anything in the world, but why should a game not end like that? I have never understood the logic of changing rules at the end of games. If it's a charge with 38 minutes to go in the game, it's a a charge with 20 seconds to go in the game. If you wanna say it isn't a charge I am fine with that, but the timing shouldn't matter. Boeheim is to blame. They still had a chance to win if he didn't act like an idiot.

Agree. I didn't think it was a bad call. It was close to a 50/50 call but I think he was set. With that much contact, there has to be some call. And I hate that there were techs called but Boeheim absolutely deserved it. Ref didn't mess up. Boeheim did. And I bet Boeheim will admit as such.

Because 5:00 earlier, Parker ran over the defender and they the call was a block and count the bucket. The charge/block call wasn't consistent.

There wasn't enough contact the even call a foul. Let the play go and let the players decide the game.

His first ejection in his career. And the ref should've called one tech and let the game go on with Boeheim coaching. The ref made a terrible call then made another one.

It was definitely the wrong call, but not that terrible. Close to borderline. The block call on Parker was absolutely brutal. But the ref had no choice but to toss Boeheim. When he went out onto the court it was an automatic technical, and this isn't baseball.......he doesn't have the right to keep saying "bullshit" over and over and over. Boeheim obviously felt that this loss was not important, and he's probably right. But to forfeit the game like that was just bush league.

Very bad call... the defender didn't even have his feet set while CJ was in the air, he managed to finally get his feet set the instant before there was contact (after CJ was 85 feet in the air and the ball was leaving his hand.

Horrible call, would have loved to see the overtime happen!

The Parker call was worse than the Fair call, but I agree if that was a block on the Parker drive then at the very least that was a no call on Fair. Boeheim isnt an idiot, he went crazy for a reason.

at first I thought it was a horrible call, but after watching the replays it wasn't bad at all. The defender was there, I've seen defenders with far worse position get the charge there

I would say that's called a charge 60/40, but that's the problem. The call is very inconsistent. Sometimes guys are camping out for 2 seconds at get called for a block, other times they jump in front of a player at the last millisecond at get the charge

I personally would have preferred a play on, but I don't get to make the call :)

That's not what your OP said. You are changing your words now. Your original claim was that the rules should change depending on the time of the game. I did not argue it was or wasn't a bad call.

He also cost his team any small chance they still had to win the game. The ref let him get out about 4-5 bullshits before basically being forced to toss him.

The new rule makes it so that any questionable charge/block should be a block. Even Jay Bilas said as much.

"If there is any question at all, then by rule, it can't be a charge." -Jay Bilas.

Also, the next time a 50/50 call goes against Duke will be the first time a 50/50 call goes against Duke.

If you can, feel free to point out where I said this.

What I said was it should've been a no call and the game should've been tied at 60 going into OT. I don't see the necessity to make the call there.

His rant was bigger than just one game. Do you think that the fact that the his first ejection of his career was at Duke in his 1st ACC trip there was purely coincidental? There is a bigger picture many of you are missing.

K commands a huge amount of influence on officiating, and if he doesnt like one, he is gone.
