i wouldn't have gone before... The flick was pretty one-sided, not nearly as impactful as The Cove, or many others. But, the conditions these relatively social and intelligent animals live in are fucking awful... Imagine your dog, in a kennel that's just big enough to turn around in. For hours everyday. In the dark.

Seems pretty godam obvious that certain mammals/animals just aren't fit for this type of shit...
Is it wrong... yes... how many companies out there do wrong stuff or shady stuff you know nothing about? All of them...
DISNEY and all of the theme parks... The walmarts.. All of them have a dark side....
Kindof hard to spit in the face of sea world with all of the good that they do...
I live in Orlando and work with special needs kids in a group home and whenever we ask around for discounts or freebies for local theme parks to take our kids for outings since they have basically nothing ( not naming names but I'm sure you can guess what parks Im referring to since its Orlando) we basically get told "sorry , no discounts" too bad. But Seaworld has always bent over backward at least a few times a year to give us free days or help whenever they can and go to a lot of troube to make sure we are taken care of when they have us out and we are never able to give them anything in return for that charity. I've always respected them for that. I thought the film was thought provoking and probably had a lot of tru-isms there but I also thought it was biased and did not show both sides of the story.
