I'm guessing you will be going out of Florida ??

If you don't mind leaving out of Miami, I would Highly recommend Norwegian Cruise lines. I am saying this because it was my latest Cruise which was last Month.
I Really LOVE the Free Style Dinning ... after cruising for over 15 Years ( 1-2 cruises a year ) with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and a couple of Princess cruises
I really enjoyed this newer way of Cruising ..

Only knock on Norwegian was there TV programs ( not that you spend much time in your room ) But when you do.... they didn't have much to choose from

If you do go the Norwegian route, here is a Tip that you can use.... Unlike the other cruise lines, they Charge you, up front the Tips
But because it's Free style dinning... you don't always get the same waiter. thus the reason they throw it on your account.
The Day before your last day of the cruise, you go to the front Desk and ask for the Service charges to be taken off your Bill because you want to Tip in Cash.

anyway, if you tell me the Age group of your party. I could give you a few ideas.

also if there are any Smokers in your Party ? Cruise lines have tough smoking policies. Even on a balcony

[FONT=&quot]CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (WCBS 880/AP) —Extreme gusts of winds rocked a Florida-bound cruise ship, causing injuries to several passengers.
Norwegian Cruise Lines says the Norwegian Escape ran into winds estimated at 115 mph late Sunday that caused the ship to tilt to its port side.
<iframe src="https://omny.fm/shows/wcbsam-on-demand/passengers-injured-on-cruise-ship-battered-by-wind/embed?style=cover" width="100%" height="180" frameborder="no" style="box-sizing: border-box; max-width: 100%;"></iframe>
The cruise line said in a statement Tuesday that several injuries were reported, but it didn't say exactly how many or what type of injuries occurred.
One passenger struggled to stay upright as glasses smashed to the floor, and said, "We were just both flattened on our backs, like we couldn't, you can't stand up in like that. It really felt, you could feel the boat just tilting and everything went down with it."
Norwegian says the passengers received treatment from medical staff. The ship had no damage and remained fully operational.
The ship was on a seven-day round-trip cruise from New York to Florida. It arrived at Port Canaveral, Florida on Tuesday.
The ship can hold more than 4,200 passengers and more than 1,700 crew members.

My favorite thing to do!!

If you are going with kids, look for the kids sail free promotion.

Royal Carib (oasis class) and NCL are my favorites

So true about the tv. Watching sports sucks as well. I remember on a college football saturday they didnt show any games nor showed scores. I had to wait to we docked the next day in miami to check scores. Gonna face that again later this year when i sail the Escape. A small price to pay!!

which cruise lines offer this?

Look for Royal Carib to have sales when kids under 12 sail for free (you have to pay port charges which is like $125-$150)

NCL also has 3rd and 4th person sail free.

This will be my 5th straight year going on a cruise with my family and i have NEVER paid for my 2 kids (other than port charges) and have sailed MEGA ships every year

Cruise has helped many first time betters .

All you have to do is bet the opposite of what he takes.

very simple even for beginners

Apparently I am going on a cruise in Dec. I have been on handful of cruises before but have only ever been on Carnival. They have all been "ok" at best and I think cruises are way over rated....but some are telling me that is because Carnival is more for young folks and folks bringing little kids. This time, we are going on Celebrity. I had nothing to do with the homework, booking etc....is this a good cruise line?

I've never done Celebrity but i hear they are AWESOME (not kid friendly).

Aqua class is the way to go as you get special amenities (if the price is right)

Curious to know if you're still going to cruise? I had a December cruise scheduled this year and moved it to next year

hope what you have heard is right, and the fewer kids the better!
What is Aqua Class?
Cruise was just booked couple days ago, so think we are going, but certainly no guarantees!

Better dining room and other stuff. I hear the food is AWESOME in aqua class

You'd have to look up aqua class and see if its worth your while.

I've never done celebrity as i need "kid friendly mega ships".

However if i went kid free, I would do celebrity.

What ship u sailing?

I bought 600 shares of NCL, it's one of my few winners thus far in pandemic bottom feeding

I appreciate your support, TY
