there seem to be so many differences with who should be the 4th number 1 seed in the tournament.now i know this is one of the toughest years to pick that team but really isn't it who has played well recently due to a lot of pressure on them.lets face it,some teams had to win their conference tournament to get in,some had to play deep to get in but lets just focus on the teams worthy of this last number 1 seed.

michigan,im totally against this team being a number 1 seed.they are not a good basketball team, just my opinion as ive seen them blow many, many leads and games due to stupid play.

virginia,a team that nobody counted on winning the acc and being in the championship game today.hey they are good, not great but a very good defense and won their conference which usually is a top one but this year is not one of the better ones.

louisville,i believe they are playing the best basketball of anyone right now.i liked them early on,then i didn't like them, but hey when the chips are down and everything counts they have just risen up and have played like they are on a mission, and lets not forget they are the defending champions.

so i see either of the bottom two worthy of the last number 1 seed,......forget duke-not consistant enough, wisconsin blew their chance, michigan st got together too late to be a number 1 seed even though they are on track now,kentucky-no way,kansas-no way villanova-no way just played garbage and lost 1st round to seton hall of all teams,cincinnati-a little to erratic for me to consider, but really whats wrong with virginia,if they win should they not be a number 1 seed?

i don't know, its just really a tough call this year

one thing im sick of is,these really small conferences who never play any of the top 40 teams and get an automatic bid into the tournament is just wrong.let them have their own mini tournament or something, they are taking several spots from teams that could be in the big tournament if it was not for the garbage conferences getting bids.

ok,im just ranting and im done, lets enjoy the hoops today and look forward to march madness next week
cheersgif

what makes the tournament great is the little guy having a chance.. Wouldn't be the same without the automatic qualifier form the smaller conferences.. Do we really need West VA or Cal in the tournament over New Mex St or Stephen F Austin ? I personally don't think so...

Pretty close call with the #1 seeds ...I'm ok with any team other then VA

i'm a huge michigan fan, but i have very little confidence in them to make it past the 3rd round.

they also seem to have to play a near perfect game to win.

if mcgary was in the lineup, i'd say they'd be a solid # 1 seed and a favorite to win it all.

i think, green bay and georgia st should be in.
great seasons should be rewarded, despite losing their last game. why should teams like geogia, tx., cal., ohio st. and okla. get in, what did they win?

Michigan just quit. Be lucky to make it to the 3rd round.

this is a wide open bracket. im just glad smu didnt make it. i thought just because larry brown was coaching there the committee would be biased towards him. they have been horrid for weeks.
