These "Play In" games and tournament offshoots like the NIT and CBI seem like a big waste of time to me. I know the argument is that these "lesser" teams wouldn't have a chance. But isn't it this way now with 64 teams? No team above an 8 seed has made it to the Championship Game. So if these other 32 teams in the NCAA Tourney don't have a chance, why not either cut it down to 32 teams or just get everyone involved in the Big Dance? I know these other 64 programs can't win it. But I love upsets..
