Had my account hacked a few months ago and had around 2K lost in the online casino.

You would think a hacker would rather manipulate the casino in his own account for an easy win than hack into some brokedick's account just to lose his balance. How is it hackers really suck so bad at online casino?

Never had a "hacker", but I've had that happen to me in real life twice.

First time I was wasted and blew my whole roll on blackjack. Didn't remember till I opened my laptop and saw the screen up. After that I called the books I used and told them to disable the casino. That one was on me.

Second time one of my bitch roommates got on my laptop during a college party. I didn't think anything of it because that's how we played music at parties. I had my site open and stupidly it was the same pw as the laptop lock screen. That asshole put my whole roll on the Red Sox cause he knows I'm a huge Yanks fan. I didn't notice until the game had already started, so I couldn't cancel. Of course they lost. He denied it, but I know for 100% it was him. Told him to pay up but he denied it. Never spoke to him again.

First, hacking into a computer and logging (or keystroke tracker) is much easier than hacking into an online casino server. Second, hacking a password for one of many users is much easier than hacking the one administrator password for the casino website

How do you know, you think they are announcing it to you if they do successfully hack into it.

It's hard to hack random number generators like that. It can be done but it's very sophisticated and at the end of the day the book would end up knowing you are hacking them based on your unusually good performance that defies the odds.

He was kidding ... it's the excuse the player gave...

Happens a lot ...

I once had a player say he was hacked on a -3500 Tennis play ... That Lost

2 problems with that .... #1 after saying he doesn't gamble on Tennis ... went back to his History and of Course there were a few Tennis plays

# 2 ... the wager was made from the same IP as he Always signed in with.

Besides they still have to cash out. And I would say, any casino winners are scrutinized and if they see anything even remotely suspicious, they wont pay up

Is not worth it. Way more profitable and way less complicated to set up multiple bots at a poker site.

I helped 2 of my friends out with my local.

One guy called me up and said that somebody hacked into his account. He said that there were 3 wagers placed. 2 winners, 1 loser. When I told him that I would call my guy and he would run an IP check. After the third time that I asked him if he was sure it was hacked, he said yes, "but let's not change the password or the account, let's just see what happens"...

Ok so once your account is hacked and the hacker wins how does he get the money? Also I have heard tons of credit players getting hacked in this manner as well, I wonder if the hacker plans on meeting the agent to collect.

yall are taking this way to seriously. think the thread was made more to make you laugh than to be a debate

I have no doubt that 98% of the people that claim they were hacked were just trying to find an excuse... well if were talking online casino, im going to go ahead and say 100%

I have never seen/heard one case where a player said "My account got hacked, the guy won in the casino and withdrew all the funds" which is why I must infer that hackers suck at the casino.

Ever seen a sportsbook with https & lock symbol encryption on the login page?

Nope.

Banks don't even trust email sites that have those 2 security items.

So what does that tell you about sportsbooks?

And people say Pinnacle is as safe as their bank.
