Probably. I remember reading his kids didn't want/couldn't afford the team.

Read that also, will be interesting to see the future of the team. Smaller market like them still will get close to a $1 Bil.

A sad day for Bills fans- A sad week for Bills fans ...First Kelly Cancer issues and now the Top dog goes down...Jimbo condition worsening per his wife....as far as the team goes, Toronto had an opportunity to shine but that fell thru- Bills postponed this yrs game already and more to follow....Ralph indeed was a very rich man...he kept his word and never moved the team while he was alive..Im not an attroney or tax man, but I would think the keys here are
1. Taxes for the Family- whoever that is- inheritance taxes would cost about 500,000 if the team is passed to family ...don't think that happens- would have happened already. The will is private and may hold some surprizes.
2. Current Lease- they are obligated to stay minamily for at least another 10 years or pay a declining 400 million dollar escape clause...BUT...in the 7th year? it is marked down considerably...that is the out year....
So anyone buying the team would have to stay at least 7 yrs....that gives the small market bills community time to get a plan in place- maybe best shot are billionaires Pegula and Golisano, already local- one plan mentioned was Jim Kelly being the front man for a local purchase group of these guys- he was excited about it- under current curcumstances, that doesn't look good......Bills Mafia mourns today , prays for Jimbo, and hopes for saviour.......Go Bills!

It could be a situation where they start playing more games in Toronto and phase out Bufffalo. It could also be the team that could go to London if a foreign billionaire buys them.
