No money on the game. Did anyone besides me find that review of the next to final play excessively long? Apparently they got the call right, but it took over five minutes. Imo, if it takes that long the call should not have been overturned.

it did seem long but seems like they got it right. More importantly, you had no money on the game? WTF?

who cares how long it takes, the key is to make sure you get it right and that's all that counts,........to bring up a question about how long it took to get it right is just ridculous

It was awful. Thank god I had a hockey game on the TV next to it at the bar.

In real time, I thought the foul on Johnson was a bad call. But on the replay, he clearly got separation with the forearm, giving him an advantage. It probably was the right call. On the replay, I was shocked they gave it to Arizona. I watched it 5 or 6 times while shooting the shit with some buddies. Seemed pretty inconclusive to me, but whatever.

I don't like replay. Officials make mistakes all game, and you get some calls and the opponent gets some calls. What's magical about the 2:00 mark that you have to watch super slow motion 87 times and then discuss for another couple minutes? What if there is a bad call with 2:07 left, and the team that didn't get the call gets a call to their benefit at the 30 second mark that is reversed? Seems silly to me.

Also, replay doesn't take into account other factors. Sometimes, if a guy goes over the back and knocks it off the opponent, they will just award possession and not call the foul. The kid saves a foul, the ball goes to the team it should, and everyone understands exactly what just happened. This shit ignores some of real-world officiating and makes it letter of the law bullshit.

The offensive foul was a terrible call & should NEVER be made at the end of the game like that unless blatant which it was not. He barely touched him & if anything he was fouled while shooting. The out of bounds play was an easy call. I saw it in real time that Wisconsin touched it last. It was impossible for the ball to have rotated the way it did at the end if only the Arizona player touched it.

Fouls should only be called when an advantage is gained. He clearly got an advantage which gave him an open shot. It was good D, I could have lived with a no call, but Gosser's ability to defend was taken away.

Replay should be used to overturn fairly obvious errors. If it takes more than a couple of minutes and 4 or 5 replays and you're still not sure, stay with the original call and move on.

So what was the excuse for the Arizona player (Johnson?) dribbling the ball around the perimeter with only 3.5 seconds left and never taking the shot before the buzzer? Dumber than dumb.

and do all of this inside 60 seconds. Look at the 3 different camera angles, look at the best replay a second time and make a decision

And what about Gosser's bump before the push?
