Baseball season FINALLY underway!

Looking forward to enjoying some bases and making a little money in the process. I follow the game religiously and have been handicapping games as a hobby for a few years now. Baseball is the only sport I ever bet on.

I will post daily with my picks, some analysis, and other tidbits as the season picks up. Feel free to follow, fade, or ignore me altogether!

I have one play I have my eye on tonight. Will be back in a bit with confirmation. When I have some more time this week I will lay more out in regards to my strategies, plans for managing bankroll, and some of the things I'm keeping an eye on early in the year.

Play for Monday, 3/31

Los Angeles Angels (-124): Risk 124 to win 100

The Angels have a lot to prove in 2014 and that starts tonight against King Felix and the Mariners. While it's always tempting to take back plus money when on big name pitcher like Hernandez his surface stats and consistency performance tends to overvalue him. On the flip side, Jered Weaver has the potential to perform like an elite talent any given night and taking the ball Opening Night should have him locked in against a Mariners line-up with a lot of talent, but a one dimensional make-up.

Weaver pitched well, but the M's hung around and poured it on late.

On to today... Looks like two possible plays.
