Rare rain-out causes early dh

Tuesday nights Cleveland vs Oakland game was ppd due to rain , this is the first rain-out in Oakland since 1998. ....And b/c this is Clevelands only trip to Oakland this year they are playing an early season doubleheader Wednesday.

Interesting information. That's crazy that it's been that long since there was a rain-out in Oakland.

However, something the media apparently forgot was that Oakland actually had an even rarer "early finish" thanks to rain in a home game in 2011 or 2012, which ruined an under of mine (Danny Duffy vs Graham Godfrey, if I recall off the top of my head) that was about to win. Rain in the bottom of the 8th caused a 3-1ish game to be called, and under backers such as myself were screwed out of a victory, and had to settle for the dreaded "No Action" judgment ugh.
