Four buddies of mine are going to Boston this weekend for the Brewers' series. They didn't realize Friday's game was the ring ceremony. With no realistic chance to get tickets, where can they drink some beer and have a good time in the area of Fenway? They have tickets for Saturday.

Anywhere around the Park is good. There are a number of places stumbling distance from the park and they all have pretty much the same crowd. Either fans going to the game or fans just looking to watch it and enjoy the festivities is what you usually find.

I do suggest however that you guys get there early, or just wait until first pitch and things usually clear out enough to find seats wherever you guys land.

Enjoy!

I was in fenway last august for yankees series.......and let me tell you, finding a decent price ticket was nearly impossible...i did find a way in howeverShush()*....they offer stadium tours for about $20(pretty cool if your into baseball history) i purchased mine for the latest tour available, which in fact they let you stay for redsox bp on the green monster. Now if your slick you can finagle your way away from your group and walk the stadium as if you were one of the thousands pouring in for the upcoming game. The downside to this is u will have to stand in a standing room area for the game instead of having your own seat but for $20 and beating the system me and my friends had a great time:toast: but to answer your questions as mikeb stated......literally right outside the stadium are a bunch of bars and restaurants tons of people hang out whether boston is playing or not:103631605

Mike is right about this ^.....Either early or right after the game starts.
Hopefully you guys are on foot or taking public transportation cause parking is $$$.

Game on, Jerry Remy's, Cask n Flagon, Boston Beer Works, too many to name.

It's actually four buddies of mine. I went to Tempe to watch a week of spring training so my party funds are low. Knowing those guys, I'm sure I'll hear some good ones.
