I normally do pretty well in baseball. I have never posted my plays nor have I really kept track of them. I tread lightly for the first few weeks until the managers seem to figure out what they want to do with their lineups and pitchers have a decent enough sample size to get a read on them.

1. Yankees/Balt Over 8.5 runs - both pitchers allowed a decent amount of hits last year and struggle against the opposite respective team. Nova gave up 6 hits in 5.2 innings but it only accounted for 2 runs but the Yankees beat HOUSTON 4-2. I think baltimore is a much better offensive club than Houston, especially against a shaky pitcher. Chen gave up 12 hits and 4 runs in 5.2 innings against the Red Sox. I expect both pitchers to give up hits and the more hits, the more likely a team is to score. Juice is -125 played for 1 unit.

More to come. Goodluck on whatever you decide!

Sorry I didn't have a write up for my late games. Was tailgating for the Braves home opener.

I really like like the over in this first game of the day. A number 3 vs a 4 pitcher as well but both of these guys should get dinged up enough to where I'd stay away from the sides. In their last starts they both gave up a ton of hits and walks. While neither offense is elite, I just think enough balls will be put in play to score some runs.
1. Over 8.5 cleveland/sd 2 units

2. Over 7.5 Stl/Cin 1 unit- both pitchers fare horribly against the opposite team over their career and both offenses have some power behind them.
3. Oakland ML - Chavez is getting better as Hugh's seems to be digressing. Couple that with an Oakland team that is miles better, and would rather put the ball in play throughout spacious Target field and I think they win a close game today.

4. Cincinatti ML 1 unit (+125) - I really like Mike Leake in this spot. St Louis squeezed one out in the home opener after Cincinnati blew a 4-0 lead super quick. I don't see that happening twice.

BetUS pulled cleveland down so soon after the 1st game and I wasn't able to put my wager in but I will count it against me if it so happens to end that way. Just an FYI

7. Over 9 Boston/Texas (-120) 2 units - both pitchers have never fared well against the opposing team and I see a carry over from yesterdays offensive production. I also lean towards Boston to win and will play that for .5 units. Jake Peavy will be the better of the two bad pitchers this evening.
