2-0 (+6 Units) yesterday

ORIOLES/YANKEES OVER 8.5 (-115) 2 Units
Although the bats of both of these teams have been moderately dormant, today's conditions have breakout potential. The winds are kicking straight out to center. Both pitchers are hittable. My numbers have this game at 10 runs.

More soon..

Adding:

1st 5 Innings - GIANTS -0.5 (-110) 3 Units
The Cahill/Hudson rematch. Hudson dominated the D-Backs lineup in Arizona, why would it be any different in San Fran? I took the Giants in their first match-up, and the reasons are the same for this first 5 bet. Hudson has held this AZ lineup to a .268 OBP in his career, only giving up 8 XBH in 117 AB. The Giants lineup against Cahill has a .386 OBP and a .291 average. They've hit 17 XBH in 172 AB. I expect the Giants to be up by a run or two after the first 5 innings here. It's their home opener, and the house will be packed.

3 Runs in the top of the 1st from the Orioles has my opening wager in good shape early.

More to come later..

ORIOLES/YANKEES OVER 8.5 (-115) 2 Units *WIN*

Adding:

Nationals -1.5 (+110)

Miami played well in their home stand, but on their first road game they are set up for failure. Henderson Alvarez didn't look great in his first start, giving up 7 H and 6 R in only 3 IP, and I don't expect it to get any better in the second start. At Nationals Park he holds an ERA of 5.40, and opponents average of .345, with an OBP of .402. Gio Gonzalez is a force to be reckoned with at home. In the last 3 years he's held a 2.63 ERA and opponents average of .222 at Nationals Park, and against the Marlins lineup his ERA is even better at 1.76 in 6 starts, holding them to a .193 average and .256 OBP. My numbers have the Nats by 3 runs here, so I like them on the RL.

I have one more game I'm looking at, but I'm waiting for the line to move as I expect it will.

2-0 (+5 Units) so far today. Adding:

RAYS/ROYALS UNDER 7.5(-115) 2 Units
There is a lot to like about Chris Archer. He's confident, has a tricky release, and a mid-90's fast ball. The more unknown name of these two young arms is Yordano Ventura. This kid has the stuff to be a top 10 pitcher in the league in my opinion. A fastball topping off at 101mph (with movement) and a changeup coming in at 85mph on average, is alone good enough to fool even the best bats in the bigs. If that's not enough, he has an above average curveball for a put-out pitch. I see this game being close, with 5-6 runs scored.

4-0 (+9.2 Units) feels good. I said it before, but Yordano Ventura is a guy to look out for in the next week or two this season. His stuff is unreal, and he's been a well kept secret in the square world. I'm sure there will be some value in his upcoming starts. Starting to look at tomorrow's card
