At the end of the 1960s, the R&B band Chairmen of the Board released a song whose lyrics went, in part, “If you dance to the music, don’t you know, you’ve got to pay to the piper.”
As Matthew Weiner prepares to wrap up his AMC hit “Mad Men,” also right around the end of the 1960s, he’s thinking the same thing for lead Mad Man Don Draper (Jon Hamm) and all his colleagues.

“This season is about consequences,” says Weiner, the creator and head writer of “Mad Men.” “We don’t just throw stuff away after it has happened. There are shadows over this season that go back to the first time we met Don.”
Back then, early in the show, Don was by all appearances the American success story. He was a rainmaker on Madison Avenue, an advertising genius. He seemed to have the perfect wife in ex-model Betty (January Jones), with two clean-cut kids.
Entering season seven, which starts Sunday night at 10 and will be divided into one seven-episode run this year and another seven-episode run in 2015, Don’s sparkling meadow looks more like quicksand.

That's too easy to spot. Don Draper career will go down just like Nixon.

Neve Campbell as the woman on the plane. She still looks good. I didn't even recognize her at first. She looked like she would have been a sure thing for Don if he wanted her. I'm surprised he gave her the cold shoulder. Hard to believe the zebra has changed his stripes.

Megan avoided having sex with him in the first night and show zero interest of doing so the day after. Don mojo no longer works with his own wife. He is a mad man.

Love the exchanges between Roger and his little spoiled brat. Margaret sounds exactly like a 60's hippie liberal.

Greatest show on TV by miles.

Had no idea that was neve Campbell...way hotter than I remembered.
I think it's the makeup. Because Megan looks better on the show than in real life

...got a feeling Don will be meeting up with Neve this Sunday.
Preview looks like he f's up again.
