I know this happens a couple times per year where a game gets suspended to resume the following day, and I always forget what the standard is...

I had the over 7.5 in the game, which easily hit but my book cancelled the bet. Is that standard? Just curious if I have a leg to stand on in asking them to honor the play.

According to 5dimes: Wagers will be graded no action if a game is called before completion, suspended, or does not go full 9 innings (8½ if the home team is winning) on the date scheduled.

EDIT: This was in the paragraph pertaining to totals.

Nope, most books have the rule set on totals and team totals for a game to go 8.5/9 innings for action. Run lines and alt lines follow the same rules. So you will only get your money back on a total. Only action that would be live and carried onto the next day is a live bet I believe.

I believe only sides will count. Totals and run lines are cancelled.
