Might seem like a square bet, but Tanaka has an amazing arsenal of pitches and has shown what he capable of posting a 11.57 K/9 rate against two decent AL lineups. He gets a chance to face a sub-par NL lineup today against a pitcher in Hammel who this Yankees lineup as a whole has hit well in his career (.325/.374/.506). Yankees win by 2-4 runs here.

To put it shortly, both lineups have had success against the opposing pitcher and the conditions are prime for the ball to travel. Cashner is a good pitcher, but he's a little overvalued here.
