There is a lot of speculation about where Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel will be taken in this year’s NFL Draft. Not like Tim Tebow speculation, but he’s kind of close. Opinions about what he’ll be at the NFL level are all over the place.
Some people think the Houston Texans will take him with the first-overall pick, but I highly doubt that and the number of people who think that seems to be dwindling.
Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager said on ESPN’s NFL Insiders that Manziel could be looking at a slide to the late first round. He said that Johnny Football will “fall a little more than people think.”
As with everything, take this with a grain of salt. First of all, what does “a little more than people think” mean? And how would that be proven at the end of the day? Talk about a worthless prediction.
Dominik said that he wouldn’t be surprised to see Manziel fall to the late first round, with a team like the Texans trading back up into that round to grab him. That’s entirely possible, but is that farther than people think?
Christ, while NFL Draft season is one of the most exciting times of the year, it’s also one of the most annoying.
