Alright gentlemen. Hope everyone had cashed in nfl and nba (even though I believe nba is rigged and you should never bet on it), and the first couple weeks of America's greatest past time have been sweet. I'm back at it after a fairly decent run last season. I'll be posting my picks when time permits and hopefully will be able to provide the forum with some ca$h money$.

To start, I'm a pretty big fan of betting teams the day after they lose. That being said, I think the tigers and dodgers are in a good spot today. Verlander has shown, again, to be a solid pitcher thus far, with only 1.80 era in his last three starts. Ryu is no different, and has been a solid arm for the dodgers. However, Burnett has also been doing comparably well and maintains around a 3 era in his last three starts as Ryu does. But, I still think the dodgers have the edge as their bats seem to hit well when Ryu is on the mound; some pitchers, teams just bat better for. So, I'm taking tigers RL and dodgers ML to start.

Next, I also like the Brewers ML for the sole reason that they are probably the hottest team in baseball. And sometimes, its all about riding those gravy trains to the promise land my friends. Gallardo also hosts a 1.97 era in last three starts while Kennedy hosts a 3.79; both pitchers have pitched about 19 innings. I think the Brewers have the edge in pitching today. Combined with their hot bats, I'm hopping on for the ride and even sprinkling a little bit on that RL.

Last, I like the braves RL tonight. And, I love the value at +170. Sure, lines are what they are for a reasons. The line makers definitely know what they are doing. But, I love the pitching match up tonight between Wood and Fernandez. Miami really hasn't lived up to the hype they were getting in the off season. Last season, Alex Wood was far from a good pitcher; I'll even go to say he was terrible. But, pitchers always have bad seasons, because he has turned things around and is killing it this year. With a 1.80 era in 20 innings pitched, I think he keeps padding those pretty stats tonight. Also, while I don't rely on trends such as games played at night, braves are 10-2 in home night games. They love putting on a show and hope they do the same tonight. braves RL.

Hope to see some ca$$$$H to start the season. GL to all.

Well...not a good start on the forum with 1-2 yesterday. But, can't let that slow me down in getting that bank roll up. The braves really let me down last night. Nonetheless, Fernandez is a stud. I'm sure it won't be long until his rookie contract is over and he is getting some huge offers from teams; that kid has a bright future ahead. Still, I'm going to take the braves again today. And, I'm going RL. GO BIG OR GO HOME. I'll be honest. I am not a Harrang fan at all. I am a pretty big Reds fan, and I despised Harrang when he played for the reds. Likewise, last year, he had a horrendous season. I thought that guys days were done for good. But, I am surprised at what I'm seeing out his arm this season. He supports a .98 era in 19 innings pitched. And, the braves love backing this guy up with run support. So, I'm gonna follow the trends as I think the braves slowly chip away Eovalid while putting runs up on the scoreboard. Redemption is near!

I will be back to post more picks for the later games.

But for now, LETS GO BRAVES! Braves RL +145

Nice hit to start the day. They pulled through near the end too; I was starting to get nervous. I expected a little more offense from the braves, but Harang did his job most of the game to keep Miami at bay.

Not too many games I like today after looking more in depth. The last play probably for the day my boys, the redlegs. The bats have been hitting lately for the reds which is always a plus. And, Simon has been strong and consistent thus far in the season. He maintains a .86 era in 21 innings pitched, while Morton is 5.68 with the same number of innings. Two pitcher that are starting to show they each will have polar opposite seasons on the mound; and I think we all know who is going to rise and who will fall further down into the slumps. The reds did win yesterday, and I think they take the second game in this series as well. The reds had four runs yesterday on just three hits. Thus, the victory can be deceiving as they were not hitting at their best yesterday even with the win. However, I think the reds, in the least, double those hits today and cruise to a win. Look for Simon to maintain his dominance on the mound and keep the Pirates in their dug out for most of the game while the reds batters lay into Morton.

Reds ML (even) - great value here as well

BOL to everyone. Lets take this to the bank!
