Very tough question. Memphis beat OKC last year (yes without Westbrook) but Memphis isn't really a 7 seed, they had injuries and are playing great and the right time. I'd say Indi - even though they have been god awful the last 3 months, they should still beat the hawks.

It's frustrating watching this game. I've seen at least 5 Thunder shots go halfway down the bucket and come out. That's at least 10 points lost right there. They are so close. But if things keep going this way, Memphis will cruise. So far in this series Brooks has seemed lost when it comes to figuring out an offense against Memphis that has any rhythm to it. But OKC's biggest problem is they have lost something on defense this year. Which is my main gripe with the NBA in general these days. Nobody plays great defense anymore.

agreed! offense is all people really look at and those players get paid. JR Smith is making 5.5mil this year while a strong defensive player like Kawhi Leonard is raking in 1.8mil
Seeing such lack of effort on def vs 10-20+ years ago takes away from the game today

Maybe Ibaka gave up on defense lol, he always got no love and little credit for his great defensive play

Nice comeback by the Thunder. I hope they didn't expend too much energy to finish. But Durant still isn't playing well at all in this series. And when he is double teamed, it only gets worse. They obviously have a lot of holes they need to shore up before they can be considered championship ready.

yeah Durant has been awful. I hate how they keep putting him in the 2man game with Russ, just have him iso up top.

Memphis isn't even guarding the other guys so pick and roll not really working....

4 straight OTs in 1 series? are you kidding me?

This series should be 4-1 Memphis and over...OKC must have 9 lives

Brooks not resting KD more during the regular season is costing them. Durant just doesn't look like he's got that much left in the tank for these playoffs.

Good point. Too lazy to look up the stat again but I believe Durant averaged around 46 minutes a game in the regular season, which was 8 more than Lebron. 8 minutes a game over a full season adds up quickly.

GoSooners, I'm a big Griz fan but I fully expect this to go 7 games.

I'm kind of expecting 7 games. But I think Memphis is going to win it.

I would like to know what his average was when Westbrook was injured. It seems like Brooks never took him out of the game, which was the big reason why he went on that long consecutive game scoring streak of 25 or more ppg. But he's paying for it now.

My bad. When I was looking at the stats, I was evidently only looking at postseason stats and not the regular season. He's obviously averaging a ton of minutes in the postseason because of all the overtimes. I knew that number seemed way too high.
