Former Atlanta Hawks star Mookie Blaylock has been indicted by a grand jury on 14 charges, including first-degree vehicular homicide, serious injury by vehicle and reckless driving stemming from a May 31, 2013 head-on-crash south of Atlanta.

Blaylock, 41, is accused of causing the accident that killed a mother of five and her husband. He could face up to 33 years, the Clayton County District Attorney told Atlanta's Channel 2.

Blaylock spent days in the hospital after being seriously injured in the wreck and was on life support. 'The Atlanta Journal-Constitution' reported that at the time of the accident, Blaylock was being treated for seizures.

Following his release from the hospital, Blaylock surrendered to authorities and was jailed before posting $250,000 bond.
The fatal crash came weeks after Blaylock was arrested and later pled guilty to DUI and hit-and-run charges. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail.

Blaylock spent 13 seasons in the NBA with the Hawks, Nets and Warriors and made six All-Defensive teams and was an All-Star in 1994. He averaged 13.5 points and 6.7 assists and ranks 30th all-time with 5,972 assists.
