G.D....wouldn't OVER 10.5 in the Rangers/Rockies game be an automatic play based on the premise of both your team total plays OVER 5?

I was thinking the same thing. Why not just place one bet on the over for 2x? Just curious... Then again you have the hot hand so why question anything you say

Guessing it's a small hedge in case one of the teams shits the bed and the other "only" puts up an 8 spot. I like it. Protects against an 8-2 W or something...

Makes sense (from the hedge perspective) but, if both team total OVERS are investments, then it only stands to reason to play OVER 10' in the game. Let's get it tonight and hope for Fireworks at Coors.

Welp if I'm gonna take both team totals at over 5 then I am going for the whole shooting match at over 10.5. Bombs away at Coors!

It's a hedge if one goes over. If they both hit, it's 2 units. No reason to risk a 3rd unit, and take a loss if the TT split.
