I've been impressed with Ford lately...

I'd highly suggest test driving them both, IMO the Ford is a smoother ride, better interior (and exterior for that matter) than chevy. not saying just escape vs eqiunox, more generally as I have family and freinds that have newer of each... never been in a equinox.. mother has a trail blazer think thats what it is, it's whatever the quinox replaced. She has had a ton of trouble with it. Hasn't hit a 100k yet either

Both overpriced with shitty resale.

Madza CX-5, Honda CR-V, and Toyota Highlander or Rav4 all better vehicles with better resale and will last a shit ton longer

Have a ford Edge and absolutely love it.....my 2nd one in 6 years. Ford has really come a long way with quality. Have a buddy who has the new Escape and is very happy with it. GL.

15000-20000 cash

Good price range, but used cars are steep right now. Plus, a lot offering 0% fin on new.

$28k (talked down good bit) for fully loaded 2015 Mazda CX-5 AWD GT is hard to beat. SUV with over 32MPG too.

New Explorers are legit. But terrible gas mileage.

I bot wifey a new Subaru Forester a few months ago. She likey very much. 26 mpg doesn't hurt. Paid $31K cash out the door loaded.
