I love how the cat instantly comes back to check on the child after running the dog off. Awesome.

I'm take it the dog was euthanized or still in quarantine? The owner is totally liable for all damages as well. Bet that boy is a cat owner and lover for life now.

Looks like a basic mutt to me.

I'm sure someone will say pit bull though, and it may be a mixed, but that had nothing to do with it if so. this one is on the owner, and will cost the dog it's life I would assume.

If it was a strange dog that attacked your child would you still feel that way?

He does. If there was nobody there that boy would have been mauled. Stupid dogs like that set off by a kid playing on his own property? He needs to die.

Also the dog ran but you can see the mother run to the other side so obviously the dog tried to go around the van.

Yea to be honest you may be right...... it is maybe hard for me to be objective because on average I like dogs more than little kids. The dog is likely mistreated by its owners to act that way so I guess I kind of wish it could be put in safe environment...... but maybe that is not actually realistic. I would not be the one to put down the dog anyway.

cat checked on the boy 1 second after tackling the fucking dog ! ... and in the same second did a 180 and went after the dog again !! went after the dog so hard the cat was spinning wheels trying to cut on a dime like shady mccoy. Tuna for LIFE
