I hope he wins like he should. Whole thing should be a non issue. Refuse to sell and if they make you, refuse to sign the papers. Keep them in court for years. Unfortunately one of Steven A. Smiff's buds will take care of it and he will suddenly die from mysterious circumstances before it ends.

Well, looks like Sterling is going to fight and this will take some time. Wonder what Lebron will be doing during his boycott.

this kind of fight will be tied up in courts for a long time.

King Lebron might have to get off his thrown and do something

Who are we kidding? Lebron won't boycott. He'll spin it to where as the litigation is going on he'll make some statement saying something like he's confident the courts will ultimately do the right thing in the end and so therefore Sterling is basically as good as being out anyways. Lebron keeps playing and issues a new promise that if the courts rule in Sterling favor, then he'll boycott. But in the meantime the checks are getting cashed.

lebron is the face of the NBA at this point so he figured he would go out on a limb and get some clicks for his statement. if this is held up in courts for the next year or two there is now way Lebron will stick with this

What exactly would be the point of a boycott anyway? Sterling wouldn't stop his legal proceedings. He doesnt care if they stop playing. What is ironic is this is the best season in Clippers sorry ass history.

Blecher is no stranger to expensive and lengthy litigation in sports. He was a lead attorney for the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in successful antitrust litigation against the NFL. The litigation concerned the Raiders relocating between Oakland and Los Angeles. Blecher, who is in his early 80s, is one of small number of attorneys who can say he beat the NFL

What is "something" exactly? To blow away $40+ mil annual endorsement deals?

gee shocking, not

the only thing shocking is that some people thought his removal was a slam dunk

actually, considering who those people are, I guess it's not so shocking

this could actually give Sterling some leverage if it's his desire to negotiate leaving on favorable terms to him, which is something everybody should have known was coming

NBA never expected this to be easy, but as long as this drags through the legal system they can tell anyone whos asking that they are doing what they can but its stuck in the courts.
